We are always looking for people interested in joining our organization. We invite you to become a member of the Ocracoke Preservation Society or renew your existing membership. The money we receive from memberships, donations, and memorials is used to operate our museum and fund special projects. Welcome to the 2009 Membership Meeting |
Attending the Fall and Spring Membership Meetings are a membership bonus and should not be missed by any member of the Ocracoke Preservation Society. This year's fall meeting took place on November 10th and began with an Ocracoke Potluck (with over 30 diferent dishes to share), a friendly and spirited business meeting, presentation of the Old House Award, drawing of many door prizes and choosing the winner of the gorgeous quilt donated by the Ocracoke Needle and Thread organization, entertainment, and an auction of antiques, art and homemade fig cake. The following pictures were taken during the meeting.
